HEY THERE!
Thanks for stopping by! Here’s a little bit about me:
AS AN ARTIST…
Fueled by a passion project I started a few years ago to “Bechdel Test” repertoire for female-identifying characters,
I am inspired by stories that give three-dimensionality and depth to voices that are underrepresented onstage. Whether it be through new works or radical reimaginations of the classics, a big goal of my career is to be in the room where creation happens and help bring your ideas to life. If you are a creative looking to put new work on it’s feet, let’s collaborate!
In addition to being a performer, I also teach voice lessons, where I focus on helping singers embrace vocal freedom by learning to celebrate our mistakes as stepping stones towards growth. To learn more about my teaching services, check out my teaching page.
AS A HUMAN…
As a native San Diegan raised by a New York Jewish family, I love complaining about how much worse the produce is in this city and running down to the waterfront in Astoria Park when I’m feeling homesick. In my free time, I love learning new totally random skills – some of my favorites include learning Joni Mitchell’s entire repertoire on my bright blue guitar, taking American Sign Language classes, and embroidering (like my shirt in this picture!)
